FRIENDS, LET’S IMPROVE OUR ENGLISH SKILL THROUGH FACEBOOK

Assalamu’alaikum wr.wb.

Honourable Juries and Audience ....

Let us say Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘alamin to Allah almighty. And let us send salaam and sholawat to our prophet Muhammad SAW. Standing here, on the honour stage, I would like to deliver an interesting speech about“IMPROVING OUR ENGLISH SKILL THROUGH FACEBOOK”.

Recently teenagers and adults all over the world are  very fond of joining social media network like facebook. Wherever and whenever, even in the school, tenageers always perform it. This phenomenon, of course, bringing positive and negative impact in their life. However, I prefer discussing about the positive to negative ones.

Dear friends ....

Do you know what the positive impacts of facebook?  Let me give description of them:

1.      Reinforcement Hospitality

By facebook we can strengthen our brotherhood and friendship

2.      Media of campaign

Facebook can also be used to promote ourselves, our potential, our product and many others.

3.      Facility of Discussion

In Facebook we can find many discussion forums. And that is what I want to deliver to you related to my topic.

Honourable juries, audience, and dear friends ...

Believed or not, our English skill can actually be improved by the facebook. How is the way? Many kinds of course! One of them is making an English On Line Club.

Happy brother and sisters,...

It is not possible for us performing an English On Line Club, we can start it from our close friends who has the same the interest like us. We can  invite them to have regular program like A WEEKLY ENGLISH PROGRAM. We invite them to determine what day you and friends communicate only use English. If you or your friends would like to write status, message, chatting or others, use English only on the day we determine together. We can make an On line discussion, just the light topics, for example Teenagers delinquency, dating, cheating or many other topics we can discuss.

Dear brother and sisters ....

I am sure very much, step by step, our club will have  more members. So that we have more and more chance to improve our English skill. Because if our club is developing nationally and even internationally, we can have more knowledge or comparation especially in using the correct diction and idiom. Also it can  increase our capability in writing.

Dear Juries, Audience and Friends ...

Besides we can also invite our English teachers to  join our club, so that he would help us make better our mistake in structure and grammar. We also ask their experience in making better English skill. We can share with them about our difficulties in studying English.

If we have been used to performing English weekly, we invite our friends to increase it by performing it daily. I am very sure that It’s easy to understand and master English.

I think that’s all what I can deliver to you. Keep in our mind that everything is easy to get as long as we have spirit and belief to reach it. Thanks for your attention.
